I’m Dr. Lucy De La Cruz—a breast surgical oncologist, educator, and pioneer in structural mastectomy. My passion is guiding women through the uncertainty of a breast cancer diagnosis with clarity, compassion, and evidence-based care.

Over the years, I’ve helped thousands of women not only undergo surgery but truly understand their diagnosis, options, and outcomes. I specialize in structural mastectomy and oncoplastic breast surgery—advanced, patient-centered approaches that preserve the natural shape and function of the breast while prioritizing oncologic safety and healing with dignity.

I also care deeply about high-risk patients, including those with genetic mutations or family history. I offer comprehensive counseling and surgical options such as prophylactic mastectomy, helping women make empowered decisions about their bodies and their future.

What drives me most is empowering patients through education and coaching. I believe that when you understand your body and your choices, you become an active participant in your care—and that changes everything. Whether you’re newly diagnosed, preparing for surgery, or navigating survivorship, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
